Question: What do I need to bring to class?
Answer: The short answer is yourself. The YMCA is allowing us the use of their computer lab in hopes that members will benefit from learning new technologies.
The long answer is ~ it depends on the class. If you sign up for the "understanding your digital camera" class you will want to bring your camera, if you have one, and the gear associated with the camera. Such as USB cable, memory cards etc. Most of the other classes are software based and extra hardware is not required.
I encourge you to bring your own laptop to class. It is always better to learn on your own hardware. There are differences between a laptop and a desktop although they both do the same thing.
Question: How do I know when the classes start/end?
Answer: Classes are added to the calendar usually 2 weeks in advance. Just check the calendar frequently. As time goes on and I get more and more email addresses from class participants, I will send out emails updating the class information.
