Class Update

We are gettng rolling with the classes.  You can view which classes are availible by following the "Classes" link at the top of the page.  The times for the classes are on the calendar of events to the right side of the page.  Just click on a date to see when the class starts and how long it lasts.

The process of starting classes has been slow to get the wheel moving but we are starting to move.

I am looking feed back from you guys so posted a FAQs (Frequently Asked Question) page which I will update often.

Calendar of Classes

If you look to the right of the screen you will notice a calendar.


This calender contains dates and times for classes as well as news updates.  The dates maked in light blue with red writing () indicate there is an event scheduled.  These events are either information on
class times or articles that I have written with assigmnents or class notes.

You can click on the date in red to see which class is being taught.  Please keep in mind that some classes are 2 hour classes and some are 4 hours classes.  Day 1 of a particular class typically starts on a Tuesday.

For example:
The Class "Before the Basics" is scheduled to start on Feb. the 17th at 9:00 AM.  This class is a 2 hour class and will be taught at 9:00 AM on both the 17th and 19th.  The material will be different on each day.  If you sign up for a class you need to make sure you make the second part.

The Class "Computer ABCs" is scheduled to start Feb 17th at 9:00 AM.  This class is a 4 hour class.  Class times are Feb 17th, Feb 19th, Feb 24th and Feb 26th at 7:00 PM.  Each of the 4 classes will cover differenct subjects.

Class Ideas?

Have an idea for a class that you would like to see taught at the YMCA?  Just send an email to Gregsby Gibbs ~ gregsby@gmail.com.  If there is enough interest I will make a class on the subject.

Welcome to Gregsby Gibbs' Blog.  Here you will find class information and study material.  I hope that you enjoy my classes and are able to gleam some useful knowledge.

I decided to start teaching classes because family members were always approaching with various "How To" questions.  My family knows I have a passion for computers and technology so they look at me as the go to guy.  I don't know everything about everything but I do know a lot about computers, digital cameras, cell phones, web design, database design, Microsoft Office and general computer troubleshooting.
